This is the corner shop with most people. I haven't got a chance to try the other shops along the same road. But compared to swatow coffee shop the fried kway teow pale in comparison. I don't like the Chendol too (but I haven't found one Chendol I like in penang. Melaka one is nice).

Super vibrant old school style Chinese coffee shop with many stalls. The chendol, char koey teow, oyster omelette and curry laksa here are good. Place is really cramped and crowded most of the time. Best to experience the vibrancy of Penang style hawker centers. Highly recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Wanted to eat a Char Kway Teow with duck eggs, there r sooooo many Famous Penang Rd CKT along d way. Stepped in, saw d 2024 n 25 Michellin guide, decided, will try. Early dinner. Ate a plate of ckt duck egg. Not bad, found it a but tooo oily, but wok hey was there, n d richness of d duck egg, yup was gd.. Wondered if there were lard bits in d past, n lap chiong but has turned halal, wh is understanable for crowds. Kinda miss d lard n d lao chiong. Anyway, not a bad ckt, i would not write home n rave abt it. But ok, i enjoyed my ckt, thanks.

Love this version of char kuey tow. The duck egg is so creamy. Love their noodles 2 big shrimps. The seasoning is great and the noodles perfect.

Feels like a all in one breakfast heaven with all the top choices of Penang food. If you want to get some of the local cravings satisfied, this is one of the top choices in Penang. But be prepared to queue~
